Week 4...BSL 70.3 Taper week.
Jan and I decided we would scale back significantly for this one, so as to not risk injury or fatigued legs going into the weekend.
Initially, we though that we'd run a near 10 min / mile pace, but, we settled in closer to 9 min / mile, and ran together the entire way. I was our goal to have identical times when we crossed.
Splits: 8:50. 9:05, 8:47.
Jan and I crossed together, and both booked 27:43, although, the results show him to be about .2 seconds ahead, so, he took 1st for the week.
