I'm an idiot.
Picked up the boys from camp at 4. Was at Heim Bbq by 4:30. I figured 3 hours was plenty of time for the HEAVY meal to settle...I was wrong.
Gagey went to run the 1k tonight. Proud of that little dude.
Griffin got off to a solid start, and was ahead of me for about 1k. He slowed, as usual, but, put up a 35:25 on a HOT day.
For me: 8:37, 9:10, 10:39 for a total of 29:28. My slowest 5k in several years. I'm glad I didn't puke. It was close. Only the walking on mile 3 kept it from happening. Again, I'm an idiot.
Good thing that Duane and Jason were out of town tonight. Otherwise, I would have been toast.
